- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing large datasets across on-premises and cloud platforms.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and availability for analytical and operational use.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and implement solutions.
- Optimize and enhance existing ETL processes and data workflows.
- Implement data governance, security standards, and best practices.
- Manage data storage solutions including data lakes and data warehouses.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Conduct statistical analysis and modeling to support business decision-making.
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
- Extract, manipulate, and analyze data using SQL and other query languages.
- Develop data models and strategies to improve service delivery and performance tracking.
- Deliver service metrics, dashboards, and analytical outputs aligned with business goals.
- Support Agile teams by promoting data literacy and enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and evolving data strategies.
- Strong expertise in data engineering and analytics concepts, including ETL and data modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and data querying techniques.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and data visualization libraries.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Experience with SSIS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and API-based data integration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Client, CloudFormation).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in Agile environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer and/or Data Analyst.
- 3+ years of experience in dimensional modeling (star and snowflake schemas).
- 3+ years of experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, DAX, or Python libraries.
- 3+ years of experience in data quality, security, and governance practices.
- 5+ years of experience handling data from on-premises and cloud sources.
- 2+ years of experience with data migrations across environments.
- 2+ years of experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD and containerization.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearances, including enhanced and potentially higher-level clearances.
- Willingness to comply with background verification and client security requirements.
- Ability to provide project examples demonstrating relevant experience and technical expertise.
- Experience in advanced analytics such as predictive modeling and data mining.
- Experience with Azure Databricks.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies including NLP.
- Experience in public sector or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or other scripting languages.
