- Manage Azure infrastructure resources ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance standards.
- Implement and enforce security policies and access controls to ensure compliance and safeguard of the company's data and infrastructure.
- Oversee and secure Entra ID (Azure AD), ensuring smooth integration with on-premises Active Directory.
- Identify and leverage cloud technologies, platforms, and associated methods to solve business and technical challenges.
- Stay up to date with Azure services and features, as well as emerging technologies and best practices in cloud infrastructure management.
- Monitor and optimize Azure resources for performance, availability, and scaling, implementing optimization strategies as needed.
- Support, troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize solutions, recommending improvements through collaboration and data-driven insights across integrated systems.
- Remediate escalations from customers, vendors, and other Business Technology teams.
- Lead the technical execution of projects and ensure alignment with team, department, and organizational objectives.
- Identifies, diagnoses, analyzes problems, proposes solutions, and understands the impact of the problem.
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in computer technology or a related discipline.
- Azure certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are an asset
- At least 6 years of progressive experience in a related field.
- Understanding of modern cybersecurity frameworks and their application in enterprise environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
- Proven experience in successfully contributing to and delivering Azure infrastructure projects, including implementing new technologies and solutions.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a proven ability to manage competing demands and consistently prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and work within constraints while maintaining a high standard of work.
- Passionate about challenges and problem-solving, with a strong desire to learn and adopt new technologies and solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling the clear and concise conveyance of complex ideas and technical material to various audiences.
