Job Description:SUMMARY OF THE ROLESales Engineer for heavy lift and transport projectsWorking in Puslinch, OnAs a Sales Engineer at Mammoet you won’t just be selling products – you’ll be shaping solutions. Reporting directly to the Sales and Tendering Manager, you’ll be a driving force in our sales team, collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals. You’ll have the unique opportunity to develop innovative sales strategies, analyze market dynamics, and identify new avenues for growth. Your role will involve managing contract negotiations, orchestrating the coordination of sales efforts within Heavy Lifting and Transportation solutions, and being a point of contact for both existing and potential customers.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Craft inventive sales strategies that resonate with our target markets.
  • Dive deep into the market landscape, outmanoeuvring competitors, and spotting trends.
  • Identify new customer opportunities, expanding our network.
  • Collaborate with your team to provide unwavering support to existing customers and nurture those relationships.
  • Lead the charge in preparing offers, skilfully conducting negotiations, and converting opportunities into orders.
  • Keep our CRM system up to date with your documented sales plans and completed efforts.
  • Make your presence known at industry exhibitions, showcasing our offerings.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Technical Account Manager/Sales Manager/Sales Engineer in a B2B environment, ideally in any of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining
  • A technical background, ideally in mechanics, giving you an edge in understanding our solutions
  • Contract negotiation skills.
  • A track record of delivering results in your past roles.
  • Professional level experience in operational practices, HLT equipment, sales systems (CRM), and MS Office suite.
  • English, fluent proficiency verbal and written (French an asset)
  • Experience with SAP is considered an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
