Posted by:Active: YesterdayI am currently looking for a compassionate, patient, and easy-going live-in caregiver to provide primary care to a female resident in a home shared by a couple. The ideal candidate would preferably be a female caregiver who can start immediately. The role is open for both full-time and part-time applicants. The main hours of care needed are between 10 am-12 pm and 9-10 pm. There is also a requirement for overnight supervision. However, I wish to emphasize that these hours may offer notable flexibility. This means, for instance, that the live-in caregiver can pursue another job during the off hours of 12 pm to 9 pm if they wish to do so. The job responsibilities include laundry, meal planning and preparation, accompanying the care receiver to appointments, and offering specialized Alzheimer/Dementia care. Furthermore, it would be necessary to supervise the home, assist with bathing, perform vacuuming duties, and do grocery shopping. Ideally, the applicant should be willing to work with, or have experience handling individuals with Dementia and hearing impairment. It's important to note that a driver's license is not a requirement for this job and a family car is available for use on the job when required. The workload will typically be about 20 - 30 hours per week. The work schedule demanded for this role includes morning and night shifts from Monday to Sunday.
