HR Coordinator responsibilities:
- Creates a deep and diverse talent pool to service multiple districts
- Collaborates with hiring managers to understand business requirements and develop a strategic hiring plan
- Spearheads full cycle high volume recruitment by also utilizing social media, events and other avenues for attracting talent
- Prioritizes and manages a high volume of resumes and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Plays an integral role in the companyâs recruitment and staffing strategy
- Ensures compliance with employment laws
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders
- Maintains candidate databases using Dayforce
- Maintains strong communication throughout recruitment processes to ensure a smooth candidate experience as a main point of contact
- Conducts reference checks, document coordination for applications, and applicable background checks
- Attends networking events, hiring fairs, and other applicable events to gain exposure and promote the company brand
- 1+ years of full cycle, high volume recruitment experience within the farming industry.
- Living on a farm or having experience in the farm industry is a huge asset.
- A degree, diploma or certificate in Human Resources or a related field is an asset
- Experience with HRIS systems, Workday or a CRM is an asset
- Intermediate MS Office Suite skills are a must, including excel
- Proven knowledge and application of employment laws and regulations
- Strong communication and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple demands and meeting deadlines
- A committed and go getter mentality, being a team player
- The discussed salary range is $50,000-$55,000 depending on experience
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
