Job Requisition ID #24WD77061Position OverviewAutodesk is seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Manager (Graphics) to lead the Autodesk Graphics Platform (AGP) team in Toronto, Canada.As a Senior Software Development Manage for the AGP team you will:Report to the Director of Engineering for platform graphicsDeliver graphics capabilities to numerous Autodesk products. The AGP team provides Autodesk subscribers with the rich visualizations and interactions required by computer-aided design, engineering, and video production workWork directly with customers, Autodesk product engineering teams, and graphics industry leaders worldwide to achieve industry-leading graphics fidelity and performanceNurture talent, develop and advocate for best practices, foster collaboration, and provide guidance and mentoring to a high-performing team that delivers quality solutions to Autodesk subscribersThis is an exciting opportunity to lead a team that pushes the envelope to provide the best graphics experience to our customers.ResponsibilitiesOversee the design, development, and implementation of software solutionsManage a team of software developers, setting goals, assigning tasks, and providing feedbackAssess, communicate, and help mitigate delivery risksCollaborate with product manager, and other engineering teams to meet team commitments in a professional, high paced engineering environmentMake decisions including costs, methods, and staffing that support the engineering and team growth needsChampion best engineering practicesEducate team members on how their work aligns with organizational goalsRecruit talent and nurture into a high-performing teamInspire, motivate and coach team members to achieve maximum productivity and creativityMinimum QualificationsBS or higher in software engineering or related field12+ years including relevant managerial experience5+ experience working through large system software release cycleExperience with Agile and Scrum methodologiesAbout AutodeskAutodesk is a global leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $159,200 and $218,900. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
