
US Accounting Manager

- Oversee full-cycle accounting, including AP/AR, payroll, and commissions.
- Manage federal, state, and sales tax filings and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Handle reconciliations, check runs, expense reporting, and credit card management.
- Deliver accurate month-end reporting, variance analysis, and audit support.
- Manage inter-company transactions, transfer pricing, and cross-border reconciliations.
- Maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and accurate financial documentation.
- Support ERP (Odoo) integration, HR benefits administration, and process improvements.
- Travel periodically to US locations as required.
- Valid passport is required.
- Clear RCMP check is required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- CPA designation required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in U.S. accounting and payroll required.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of reliability, integrity, and loyalty.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on accuracy.
- Proficiency with accounting systems, ERP platforms (Odoo experience an asset), and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support process improvements.

- This position offers a hybrid model, 1 day working remotely and 4 days in office.
- This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
