Responsibilities * Visual inspection of reserve stacks and loading faces. Advise the lab technician if any problems are identified (segregation, contamination, lack of equipment, etc.).
  • Follow the sampling frequency indicated in the Quality Plan for qualitative monitoring in production and delivery.
  • Perform quality control of aggregates (grain size, LA, micro Deval, etc.) and asphalt (bitumen extraction, grain size, density, etc.) according to the standards and procedures in place. Record results in appropriate systems.
  • Advise the lab technician of any non-compliance.
  • Clean the lab at the end of each day and complete basic maintenance of equipment.
  • Any other related tasks at the request of the Quality Supervisor.
Experience and skills
  • CEGEP, DEC or Attestation d'Études Collégiales (AEC) (quality control materials, civil engineering or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / G-Suite.
  • Care about the accuracy of information taken.
  • Fluency in French (spoken and written).
  • Valid driver's licence (Class 5).
