This is a larger architectural larger firm (80+ people) based in Toronto involved in the adaptive reuse of existing buildings including single-family homes, commercial buildings & heritage projects. They seek an architectural technologist strong in Revit with substantial experience in high-end homes; ideally some heritage retrofits involving a high-level of detailing and energy conservation considerations.You Possess
- A Bachelor of Architecture, or architectural technologist credentials from an accredited institution
- 5-7 years of post graduate experience in in sophisticated residential projects involving a high level of detailing including columns, cornice mouldings, arch or bay windows, rib-vaulted ceilings, buttresses, ornate stonework and pitched roofs
- Strong Revit & BIM capabilities
- Solid OBC knowledge; project coordination across multiple stakeholders and subconsultants
- Well organized portfolio of custom homes that encapsulates design excellence; preference to candidates with heritage project experience
- Preference to candidates experienced working in larger firms with architects, engineers, urban planners, interior designers & other technologists
- Strong communication skills; project coordination and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Solid OBC and building science knowledge
- Sustainable design (passive house or CAHP) a big plus
- Work for a top-tier architectural firm alongside dedicated architects, urban designers and interior designers on great projects
