- Identify, organize and analyze DEI data and metrics in the DEI dashboard. Develop insightful and meaningful narrative on DE&I programs and initiatives for various reports.
- Lead the launch and development of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). This includes identifying co-chairs and sponsors for the ERGs, helping ERG leaders operationalize their groups, identify measures of success, and provide learning opportunities for the ERG leaders and the entire group. Facilitate discussions and provide guidance to the ERG members on DE&I and ERG related topics, as required.
- Act as a key point of contact between Hootsuite's Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and the People team. Collaborate with ERGs in the areas of communications, events and integration of a wide range of DE&I activities across Hootsuite.
- Work with the People team in the development and management of DE&I programs. Drive the implementation of programs and initiatives across the globe, with a focus on education & awareness.
- Create a culture of DE&I learning and awareness by designing DE&I learning initiatives, organizing DE&I events and/or partnering with L&D and our diversity-focused partners in providing learning opportunities to Hootsuite employees.
- Review, design and measure DE&I learning programs. Identify creative ways to analyze, narrate and report on the impact of DE&I programs.
- Identify and recommend DE&I focused partners to the People Leadership Team and other key stakeholders within the People team.
- Track and manage the DE&I budget. Perform reconciliation analysis and prepare periodic budget reports for the management team as required.
- Conduct industry research using online tools and publications; identify opportunities and make recommendations to inform the development of DE&I programs.
- Develop and maintain DE&I guidelines and resources for all employees, including gender transition guidelines, pronouns guidelines, ERG playbook, etc. Conduct regular reviews and updates to ensure the guidelines and resources remain relevant and effective.
- Be a visible and inspiring Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion educator and champion by relaying key messages and communicating it regularly with internal stakeholders on all things related to DE&I.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with excel or google sheets (build charts, pivot tables, work on advanced functions like vlookup, etc.)
- Experience managing projects and programs
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with an ability to dig deeply into ambiguous or counterintuitive data to decompose and identify diverse segments

- Has a great connection and understanding of underrepresented groups (Black, People with disabilities, People of color, LGBTQ+, Indigenous, Neurodivergent individuals)
