- Reports directly to Lodge General and Assistant Managers.
- Work closely with Head Chef to operationalize improvement and efficiency initiatives.
- Leadership of Lodge Hands during Service Shifts.
- Collaborate with Front Desk Lodge Hand to ensure all information for dining service is shared with
- Prepare and serve all beverages.
- Oversee bar operations, including liquor, beer, and wine inventory, ordering, cost control, and cleanliness.
- Develop and maintain the drink menu in collaboration with vendors and remote Manager.
- Ensure full compliance with all liquor laws and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Monitor service quality, professionally resolve guest complaints, and manage special requests.
- Maintain a visible floor presence during peak times.
- Oversee accurate cash handling. Manage reservations/seating for optimal flow.
- Ensure equipment function and report maintenance.
- Uphold all health and sanitation standards.
- Assist with FOH/bar inventory.
- Document daily performance/incidents.
- Lead by example, taking an all-hands approach – no job is too small when it comes to delivering an exceptional guest and team experience.
- Supervise, train, and coach front-of-house staff, including bartenders.
- Lead pre-shift meetings, assign/ensure completion of opening, closing, and side-work duties, and assist with scheduling/coverage.
- Link Management and Kitchen Staff through clear, effective communication.
- Motivate and guide staff to solve guest and MEL Team Member related concerns together.
- Be stewards of a healthy active team culture, reporting any issues you may see or hear.
- High school diploma/GED required; hospitality or mixology certification/experience an asset .
- 2-3 years of high-volume restaurant/hospitality experience, with 1+ year in supervisory/lead role.
- Proven bartending expertise is essential (i.e., mixology, inventory, and liquor control).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to handle high-pressure situations and work a flexible schedule (i.e., nights, weekends, holidays).
- As a MEL team member, room and board are provided.
- 5 days per week; 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
- Full-time, hourly employment.
- Overtime hours expected to handle emergencies and unexpected staff shift changes.
