This role involves identifying product shortages, adjusting stocking strategies, and releasing purchasing requirements to procurement. The position is crucial for managing customer interactions.Key Job Responsibilities
Maintain and review accurate levels of inventory for aftermarket parts.
Support inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy.
Maintain the stocking policy for spare parts.
Allocate inventory to open demand to ensure fair and logical distribution.
Identify current and potential product shortages.
Identify inventory sharing opportunities and submit requirements to our factory plants for transfer.
Adjustment of stocking strategies.
Releasing purchasing requirements to procurement.
Set up of parts in SAP at the Aftermarket distribution plant level (including kits and purchased items).
Qualifications/Requirements
College diploma, bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in inventory planning or supply chain.
Proficiency in SAP is considered an asset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an advanced understanding of inventory management.
Solid foundation in project management and the ability to develop processes, analytics, and KPIs.
Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in fast-paced environments.
Excellent organizational, coordination, and prioritization skills.
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to collaborate across cross-functional teams and influence others positively.
Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Additional InformationCompensation RangeAt Komatsu, base pay is just one part of a comprehensive total compensation package designed to support and reward our employees.For this role, the annual base compensation range is $66,000.00 to $84,000.00 CAD.
