Location: Calgary, ALBERTA
Duration: 6+ MonthsSalary Range: C$53 INCIntroductionThe role involves managing and supporting enterprise and data center network environments. The position is a 6-month contract with a focus on Cisco technologies and network administration.Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in network administration and support.
- Hands-on administration and operational support of Cisco APIC (ACI environment).
- Proficient in configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Spine Leaf switches, Edge switches, Routers, Firewalls, and Wireless Access Points.
- Experience with SD WAN solutions, including device configuration and policy management.
- Strong network troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis for connectivity and performance issues.
- Experience in monitoring network performance, availability, and capacity using enterprise monitoring tools.
- Working knowledge of network security concepts, firewall policies, and access control.
- Ability to create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Experience working in onsite enterprise and data center environments with minimal supervision.
- Experience supporting 24/7 production environments.
- Exposure to change management and ITSM processes.
- Comfortable participating in on-call or after-hours support.
- Prior work experience in the client's industry.
- Technical Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Cisco ACI Certification, SDWAN Certification, Azure Networking, Cisco Meraki.
- Administer and support enterprise and data center network environments.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network devices including Spine Leaf switches, Routers, and Firewalls.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD WAN.
- Troubleshoot complex network connectivity and performance issues.
