- Travel throughout the CMA to monitor work on-site and ensure safety, quality, and environmental requirements are met.
- Identify hazards or issues, support corrective actions, and help maintain a safe work environment.
- Complete QA/QC inspection reports on maintenance activities.
- Provide information to your supervisor to support performance tracking and reporting.
- Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and coordinate safety meetings.
- Support with Certificate of Recognition (COR) requirements and general safety program compliance.
- Assist with tracking permits, approvals, and environmental requirements in the Environmental Regulatory Tracking Application (ERTA).
- Administer and assist in the implementation of CMA specific environmental programs, and ECO Plans.
- Report all hazardous spills that the Company becomes aware of to the Alberta Environmental and Dangerous Goods Emergencies line (EDGE) and the Department of Highways.
- Maintain accurate records and support contract reporting requirements.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Previous experience in Quality Management for Public Works, Civil Construction industry sectors, or equivalent will be considered.
- Fundamental knowledge of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Regulations is considered an asset.
- OHS or safety training or certifications are considered an asset.
- Ability to solve problems effectively.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, and execution skills.
- Functional knowledge of computer technology and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a clean record.
- Ability to travel on a regular basis throughout the area of operations.
