As a Tactical Security Guard, you will work in a high-security facility supporting detention operations, access control, patrols, and incident response. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in security, law enforcement support, or military environments.You'll gain hands-on experience in federal security operations, use-of-force standards, and crisis management, making this an excellent stepping stone toward careers in law enforcement, border services, or public safety.What's in it for you?

- Ensure the protection of individuals, property, and assets within the facility
- Escort detainees within the premises using restraints as necessary for safety
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion while working with individuals under stress
- Observe and monitor detainee behaviour and report concerns
- Conduct regular foot patrols - both indoors and outdoors
- Utilize security software and equipment effectively
- Conduct frequent wellness checks
- Generate accurate incident and daily reports
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations using tactical de-escalation techniques
- Valid BCSecurity Guard License
- Valid First Aid Level 1 (OFA1) - an asset
- Advanced Security Training (AST) - an asset
- Must have resided in Canada for the past 5 years
- High school diploma or equivalent (proof of education required)
- Able to pass Public Works Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Check
- At least 1 year of experience in a security role
- Demonstrated ability to act decisively in high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
