- Responsible for training coordination and qualification maintenance for new and existing project employees
- Responsible to ensure training is completed for all contractor staff and documented to meet legislated internal and client requirements
- Ensures all site access security and administrative requirements are met for new hires
- Coordinates with site supervision and union business agents to satisfy labour requisitions
- Facilitates project specific training needs assessment
- Ensures training records are kept up to date in client and project Learning Management Software
- Maintains electronic filing system for training material using SharePoint
- Provides support to the Trainers, as required
- Interfaces with client to ensure that training demand is identified and supported where not provided by Aecon
- Other duties as required
- Minimum 2 years' related experience
- Strong Interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task / service oriented
- Thrive on a fast paced-environment
- Training system software experience is considered an asset
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills(Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in teams
- Ability to plan, manage, and prioritize multiple, concurrent assignments and tasks
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment
- Strong sense of urgency and accountability
