GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Parts Technician – Heavy Duty Equipment to join our valued client’s team in Calgary, Alberta. This full-time position is offered as an Indigenous Career Opportunity and is ideally suited to an Indigenous candidate interested in building a stable, long-term career in equipment support, inventory management, and industrial operations within a safety-focused work environment.Responsibilities:Receive, inspect, label, and organize parts and materials for heavy duty equipmentIssue parts to mechanics and maintenance personnel efficiently and accuratelyTrack inventory levels, conduct stock counts, and complete required documentationCoordinate parts orders with suppliers, vendors, and internal departmentsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe parts room, warehouse, or yardIdentify and classify heavy duty equipment components using parts catalogues and systemsFollow all site safety, inventory, and operational proceduresQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in a parts, warehouse, materials handling, or industrial roleBasic computer skills, including inventory systems and emailValid driver’s licenseAbility to lift, move, and handle parts and materials safelyWillingness to work in an industrial environment and follow safety standardsPreferred Qualifications:Indigenous heritage (First Nations, Métis, or Inuit)Experience with heavy duty equipment, automotive, or mechanical systemsFormal Parts Technician training or interest in pursuing certificationFamiliarity with OEM parts catalogues and inventory softwareStrong organizational and communication skillsWork Environment:Industrial shop, warehouse, and yard environmentsRegular interaction with heavy duty equipment, tools, and mechanical componentsStrict adherence to PPE requirements and site-specific safety policiesBenefits:Competitive hourly compensation with overtime opportunitiesStable, full-time employment with consistent weekday schedulingOn-the-job training and mentorship from experienced trades and maintenance personnelCareer development support and opportunities for advancement within GrizzlyTrek projectsComprehensive Benefits Package:
