We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to win and close mid-market and large-scale event operators who need an operationally reliable partner - not just software.This is not a generic SaaS sales role. We’re looking for a seller who understands event-day execution, operational risk, and complex stakeholder environments within North America’s leading events.What You’ll OwnFull-cycle sales for POS, cashless, and access control solutionsBuilding and managing a qualified pipeline within defined verticals (festivals, fairs, sports, conferences, multi-day events)Executing disciplined qualification to improve win rates and deal qualityLeading discovery with operational and other various event stakeholdersCollaborating with product and operations to scope complex deployments accuratelyMaintaining accurate forecasting and CRM hygieneWhat Success Looks Like$1M–$1.5M+ in annual new business bookings3x-5x pipeline coverage consistently maintainedWin rate improvement through strong qualification and positioningReduced post-sale escalations due to accurate scoping and expectation settingClear ownership of high-value accountsWho You AreYou are likely:A cashless, access control, or live event operations expertComfortable selling into or working day-to-day with event operators, concessionaires, executive stakeholdersCredible in conversations about day-of-event operations, staffing, reconciliation, and offline modeCalm under pressure and confident in high-stakes environmentsDisciplined with CRM and forecastingComfortable saying “no” to bad-fit dealsSkills & Qualifications5+ years of B2B sales experience (POS, access control, event tech preferred)Experience selling into live events, festivals, venues, or multi-location operatorsDemonstrated ability to close complex, multi-stakeholder dealsStrong discovery and qualification skillsExperience maintaining accurate forecasts and pipeline disciplineAbility to travel for conferences, client meetings, and event deployments for approximately 8%-15% of the roleWhy Work With UsAs a remote-first company, Intellitix gives their employees the opportunity and autonomy to work from anywhere in the US or Canada with access to event experiences and a competitive compensation package including a base salary of $80,000 - $100,000 CAD and additional performance based incentives.How to ApplySubmit your resume and a cover letter detailing your experience and interest in the role by clicking Apply Now.
