- Lead complex consulting engagements with over 500+ employer clients, focusing on medical, dental, life, and disability benefit plans and programs.
- Negotiate with benefits carriers and vendors to secure optimal health and welfare plan coverage.
- Drive business development efforts, set strategic direction, and identify new opportunities within the Toronto market.
- Develop innovative benefits design and renewal strategies, and create tools to address complex client challenges.
- Communicate industry trends and Mercer's position effectively to clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
- BA/BS degree.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in health & benefits consulting, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex solutions.
- Renowned expertise and a strong industry reputation in the health & benefits field.
- Demonstrated management skills in leading large, complex projects.
- Strong sales and marketing skills, with the ability to promote organizational strengths successfully.
- Superior analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to foster a collaborative, inclusive environment and work effectively within a dynamic team.
