Job Posting Title: Receptionist
Time Type: Full TimePurpose of the position
The Receptionist will greet clients and visitors at the office and on the telephone in a professional and friendly manner. They will also provide information and assistance to Customers as well as internal colleagues/departments.
Key Tasks
- Answer main phone line number by 3rd ring
o Page staff to assist with client inquiries (as needed)
- Ensure visitor's sign in, have visitors complete Covid screening form, and wear visitor badge
- Sort incoming mail and courier packages for pick up by department employees
- Update and maintain the internal phone list
- Train additional individuals as Reception relief
- Log in Customer Complaints and inform respective Manager
- Assist operational departments with data entry
- Manage inventories for office supplies & stationaries.
- Managing CODs (Cheques on Demand)
- Managing and keeping record of all incoming cheques, their data entries, copies and sending to the lockbox
- Arrange and manage shipments via couriers. E.g. Purolator, FedEx.
- Managing approvals, keeping record and uploading Invoices.
- Assist in other administrative tasks, as required
- Other duties as requested
- Perform assigned tasks to support DSV meets its objectives and targets regarding quality, health, safety and environment and follow all requirements as set out in the Quality Health Safety Environment policy.
