The individual will own the following responsibilities:As a technical leader, own the architecture of enterprise-level business solutions and lead other team members in the area of design, implementation, and quality assurance.At the opportunity stage, work with prospects to understand business requirements, advising BDO’s leadership and business development teams on the best solutionPrepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations of the proposed solutionAt the delivery stage, work with implementation teams to ensure that the overall solution architecture is sound and the proposed design will meet the requirements and expectations set during the selection processDrive project initiatives by collaborating with the rest of the delivery team to ensure that solution development milestones and deadlines are metHelp set the technical direction for the practice and help to mentor the more senior consultantsTechnical documentation and knowledge transfer internally and externallySupport client testing and QA activitiesConduct design and peer reviews including individual & team unit testingWork with the project team to review problems, define and test solutionsExercise leadership through superior technical and domain knowledgeParticipation in the preparation of technical design documentation and create implementation instructions to support application deploymentsEvaluate and introduce new tools and techniques to the development teamStay up to date on both current and future development technologiesHow do we define success for your role?You demonstrate BDO's core values through all aspect of your work: Integrity, Respect and CollaborationYou understand your client’s industry, challenges, and opportunities; clients describe you as positive, professional, and delivering high quality workYou identify, recommend, and are focused on effective service delivery to your clientsYou share in an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains & attracts talentYou actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplaceYou grow your expertise through learning and professional development.Your experience and educationMinimum 7 years D365FO Functional Consulting/Solution Architecting experienceBroad knowledge of D365FO functional capabilities across multiple modulesMinimum of 6 full project lifecycles, from initial sales engagement through to go live, at 3 of which with a budget of over $1MExperience working in one or more target industries - Manufacturing & Distribution, Energy & Natural Resources, Retail, Financial Services and/or Not for Profit organizationsPost-secondary education in a relevant business discipline (B.Com., CPA, etc.) preferredTask Management and Project Coordination SkillsCoaching and/or mentoring experienceExceptional presentation skills for internal/external purposesAbility to thrive in a virtual, collaborative organization and atmosphereEffective time management skills and communication skillsAbility to listen and effectively communicate orally and in writing with clients and colleagues at different levels of the organizationAbility to multi-task effectively while delivering quality work with attention to detailExcellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects involving a variety of resources with defined deadlines/schedulesAble to adapt quickly to changing client requirementsEnjoy working in a self-teaching, learning organizationAbility to build strong relationships with clients and team membersPay Range: $108,000 - $164,000/annumWhy BDO?Our people-first approach to talent has earned us a spot among .
