- Review new account application documentation
- Verify the identity of clients and prescribed individuals associated with accounts, primarily to combat money laundering and terrorist financing activities
- Open/close/maintain client accounts across various platforms
- Process systematic plans and bank information setups
- Investigate account related issues and take appropriate actions to correct
- Facilitate regular quality assurances tests. Enhance quality assurance measures
- Communicate and coordinate with other departments regarding account related requests
- Generate departmental reports for management
- Provide training and on-going support to others in the department
- Remain current on PCMLTFA, FATCA, CRS and Qualified Intermediary regulations
- Post-secondary education
- Minimum of 3 years financial industry experience
- Experience with Dataphile is an asset
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment in a fast paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pro-active problem solving abilities with strong analytical skills
- Outstanding customer service focus
- Extremely detail oriented and accurate with a focus on quality assurance
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
