- Reporting to the Director of Digital Solutions, the candidate will support the development and maintenance of BIM workflows, document management systems, and technical standards. Responsibilities include updating and managing BIM models, coordinating with internal and external teams, preparing and tracking project documentation, and ensuring compliance with client protocols. The position also involves training staff, maintaining data integrity across various platforms (BIM, CAD, GIS), and supporting the archiving and distribution of technical materials.

- Develop internal workflows utilizing GTAA Document management systems for assembling and tracking BIM model versions issued to designers and contractors supporting the GTAA LIFT programs.
- Assist GTAA BIM Specialist/s by updating all GTAA BIM models and related technical data to the latest, GTAA supported, application version.
- Respond to requests for drawings, reports and other materials that support the GTAA LIFT programs.
- Prepare transmittal records and Non-Disclosure Agreements that detail documents, drawings and models, delivered to third parties in support of the GTAA LIFT program.
- Collaborate with internal and external design and construction teams supporting the GTAA LIFT programs to develop and document, protocols that track status, plan turnover and filing standards for all project technical records including, O&M manuals, Reports, Studies, drawing sets, CADD, GIS and BIM data etc.
- Assist in receiving and filing of technical documents and data related to airport construction, including digital and hard copy construction project drawings and documentation, inventories, reports, manuals, BIM, CAD and GIS data sets, photography and microfiche.
- Maintain workflows, systems of classification and attribution for all documents, drawings, data and models, managed in GTAA document management systems.
- Review GTAA BIM models regularly and prepare views, sections and details as necessary to support specific drawings requests including the location, scope and Level of Detail for each.
- Complete annual reviews of GTAA BIM, CADD and related standards and recommend updates to ensure alignment with evolving technologies, workflows and strategies that support the GTAA LIFT programs.
- Assign drawings numbers for GTAA LIFT projects as required.
- Assist with documenting and maintaining all standards and naming conventions for GTAA drawings, BIM, CAD and GIS data sets, inventories, and equipment.
- Provide training and guidance on established BIM and document control standards supporting GTAA LIFT programs.
- Prepares detailed lists and packs hardcopy records for archiving.

- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with technical construction drawings and or documents including as a BIM Specialist or BIM Coordinator.
- Demonstrable experience using Enterprise grade document and construction management systems, preferably, Bentley ProjectWise, AutoDesk Construction Cloud, and SharePoint.
- Demonstrable experience using BIM design software preferably AutoDesk Revit.
- Demonstrable experience with CADD and GIS technologies, preferably Bentley Microstation, Open Roads designer and ESRI ArcGIS.
- Familiar with computer equipment, and standard, office software applications, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Project, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills including the ability to facilitate meeting / workshops with large groups of stakeholders.
- Recognized degree in architecture, engineering, or computer science related field. Relevant professional designation is considered an asset.
