7am to 3pm Monday to FridayJob OverviewWe are currently hiring Quality Control Inspectors to support a busy production environment in Barrie. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting sewn filter bags to ensure they meet quality and specification standards.Key Responsibilities
- Inspect completed filter bags to ensure they meet quality standards
- Read and interpret specification sheets accurately
- Stack and organize filter bags on folding tables
- Inspect cell plates to ensure proper fit and correct usage
- Repair returned filter bags according to specifications
- Complete quality control documentation and reports
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate quality issues to the Production Supervisor
- Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment
- High School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
- 6 months-1 year of sewing experience (preferred)
- 6 months-1 year of experience reading specification sheets
- Experience in quality control or manufacturing is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent bending, lifting, and handling materials
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. independently
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels
Exposure to varying temperatures (limited climate control)
