With a team that values growth, collaboration, and a shared sense of purpose, CAE offers a dynamic environment where your contributions to training create a lasting impact on the future of safety and readiness worldwide.Key duties & responsibilities:Perform preventive maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systemsAssist in diagnosing and correcting problems on the simulators and associated simulator systemsDiagnose and correct routine problems on the simulators and associated simulator systemsUtilize maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activitiesTrain technicians in basic skillsComplete all designated training activitiesActively pursue continued professional growth and trainingPerform pre-flight and post flight on all simulatorsPerform visual alignmentsRun and evaluate Qualification Test Guide (QTG) resultsAssist with refurbishment and hardware modificationsLearn and comply with CAE quality management systemProvide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely mannerPerform logistics duties, including parts received, repair, and testing/validationPerform housekeeping functions to maintain the simulators as requiredPerform administrative tasks as requiredPerform tasks to support the technical services group as requiredRequired skills & Experience:2-year technical degree or equivalent related trainingMinimum of 3 years direct simulator experience with at least 1 year related simulator experienceAbility to troubleshoot to system level on at least multiple types of simulatorsProficiency in using all types of test equipmentsAbility to use and interpret all diagnostic available on multiple types of simulatorsAbility to perform preventive maintenance, pre-flight, and post flight checks on any simulator in the fleetAbility to perform in-depth visual adjustment and set-ups on at least 1 type of visual systemAbility to assist with projects such as refurbishments and other hardware modificationsBasic Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and suiteCAE offers:An environment where your initiatives will be recognized and valuedThe opportunity to work on a variety of projects on a multidisciplinary teamThe possibility to work from home occasionallyFlexible schedulesAttractive employee benefitsAbout CAEAt CAE, we equip people in critical roles with the expertise and solutions to create a safer world.
