Together, we are EXP.Are you ready to design your future?Be our next Traffic Signal Designer!Your work environment at EXPIn this role, you will be a part of the Transportation electrical team based in Markham office.What a day at EXP has in store for you

Prepare detailed designs for transportation electrical systems using AutoCAD and or Microstation.
Conduct detailed calculations such as voltage drop, illumination, conductor and conduit sizing, and grounding to ensure that designs meet relevant engineering standards and applicable codes.
Perform complete lighting analysis using AGi32.
Design of electrical layouts for cable raceways/underground conduits, lighting, panel schedules design, lighting poles and base details, luminaire schedule, electrical grounding.
Preparing Contract documents, including specifications and cost estimates.

What your experience looks like

Minimum of (5) years continuous experience in detailed design and design consultancy.
Experience in Roadway lighting, Traffic signal design and PHM-125.
Previous experience in Transportation and Transit projects is a must.
Experience with advanced lighting design tools (AGi32 and Autolux).
Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation and SPIDACalc.
Knowledge of standards IES-RP-21, OESC, IEEE, OTM, OPDS, OPSS, Book 12 and Book 7.
Ministry of Transportation, Ontario's work experience is desired.
