As we continue to expand and grow in Newfoundland, Kal Tire is looking for a versatile Store Manager to lead and inspire a dynamic team. Are you open to the possibility of relocating to any location within the Corner Brook area? In your role as a front-line leader, you'll encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including being a sales and service expert, coach, administrator, and manager, all to cultivate a thriving store environment.You will make an impact, demonstrate a sense of urgency, and persuade others to join a strong cultured team here. To succeed, you need to be process-driven, develop/train teams, prioritize a safety culture, and display visible leadership skills. Your entrepreneurial spirit, drive, and dedication will be instrumental in creating an efficient and profitable environment at Kal Tire's location for team members, customers, and guests.Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Team Development: Take the helm as you guide and mentor a team of Front Counter, Tire Technicians, Journeypersons, Apprentices, and more.
  • Financial Mastery: Manage profit and loss statements, oversee budgeting, and exercise effective inventory management.
  • Operational Excellence: Thrive under pressure, confidently prioritizing tasks and ensuring impeccable customer experiences.
  • Sales Excellence: Drive sales both to customers and within a B2B context, fostering strong business relationships.
  • Recruitment and Leadership: Recruit, retain, and cultivate top-tier talent, while championing customer-first priorities.
  • Safety Champion: Lead by example, following safety protocols, and prioritizing the welfare of your team and customers.
Required Qualifications:
  • Managerial Experience: Possess at least 3 years of managerial or supervisory experience (preferred).
  • Customer-Centric: Exhibit strong communication skills and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Safety Focus: Embrace a safety-first mindset, adhering to protocols and wearing required PPE.
  • Valid Driver's License: Willingness to travel and support multiple locations in the Newfoundland region.
