On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Salesforce Administrator to join our Client's team on a Full-Time Permanent basis. This role is Hybrid with 2-3 days per week onsite in Vancouver.Summary of the RoleThe Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the ongoing administration, configuration, and technical support of the organization's Salesforce ecosystem, including CRM and marketing automation capabilities. This role partners closely with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure the Salesforce platform effectively supports organizational operations. The position focuses on optimizing platform performance, implementing new functionality, and maintaining data integrity while supporting the continued evolution of Salesforce-based solutions.Duties & Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform and integrated applications across multiple environments.
  • Manage user access, permissions, and security configurations to protect sensitive data and maintain system stability.
  • Analyze business requirements and design Salesforce solutions using objects, workflows, automation, and configuration tools.
  • Manage synchronization and integration of constituent data and engagement metrics between Salesforce and marketing platforms.
  • Develop automated workflows and marketing automation processes to support engagement initiatives.
  • Implement best practices for email deliverability and marketing automation configuration.
  • Manage Salesforce platform updates and releases while supporting the rollout of new features.
  • Maintain platform health through monitoring, optimization, and operational improvements.
  • Lead data integrity initiatives including duplicate management, bulk operations, and validation rule development.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders regarding system changes and enhancements.
Core Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working with the Salesforce platform.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Marketing Cloud Administrator.
  • Experience administering Salesforce CRM environments and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience implementing Salesforce configurations including objects, workflows, automation, and integrations.
  • Experience with data management, security configuration, and platform governance.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience working with Salesforce Education Cloud or other industry-specific Salesforce cloud solutions.
  • Experience supporting CRM platforms within large or complex organizations.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce AI capabilities and emerging platform features.
  • Experience managing platform releases and feature rollouts.
  • Experience with Salesforce data tools, including SOQL and data management utilities.
TermsThis is a full-time permanent position based in Vancouver, British Columbia. The role follows a hybrid work arrangement requiring approximately 2-3 days per week onsite.
