The primary role is to lead the inbound/outbound warehouse operations; organize the day to day resource allocation, oversee quality control while supporting continuous improvement processes and documentation.
Develop and train employees while ensuring a safe, secure and well-maintained working environment
Identify and develop methods or procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of tasks, processes, and activities within the shipping/receiving area, inventory storage
Develop, execute, and assess continuous improvement plan to reduce accident and injury frequency and keep up to date all safety reporting (incident reports, first aid report, near miss)
Proactively identify and correct unsafe conditions, work processes, and behaviors, ensure compliance with all H&S laws to develop and enforce operational guidelines with staff
Requirements:
What you bring to the table:
3-5 years of previous experience, in a warehouse environment, warehousing operations experience including WMS knowledge and logistics function within a fast-paced environment
Warehousing health and safety experience in a fast-paced environment, past member of a safety organization preferred
Excellent time management skills and ability to work autonomously
Double vaccinated against Covid-19
Must have own reliable vehicle as this location is not bus accessible
