
Production Quality Team Leader

- You lead and motivate the team, including but not limited to, providing coaching, training, communicating objectives, and planning efficient distribution of work with an open and positive culture
- You ensure that Quality Control Inspectors have the proper training, information, and equipment
- You collaborate with Production to manage the prioritization and workflow of the production quality control areas
- You are the first point of contact for production quality issues and make assessment of product acceptability
- You support Quality Control Inspectors to resolve difficult quality issues in production lines
- You coordinate rejected AQL lots and perform documentation of CAPA plans
- You drive root cause analysis of quality defects with production teams
- You monitor line performance to drive prioritization of quality improvement in production lines
- You drive continuous improvement of quality control processes and engage with production teams to drive quality improvements
- You collaborate with Quality Control Supervisor to provide performance feedback
- You manage time, attendance, and vacation for production quality control inspectors
- You are able to perform quality control inspection and backfill as needed
- Create and enable access to standardized reference documents
- Create standardized work instructions
- Develop processes for people scheduling and workflow visibility
- Coach, mentor and develop new & existing team members
- Partner with AQL on alignment and shared knowledge
- Support Quality process mapping initiatives
- Analyze system related data to visualize and prioritize critical-to-quality areas.
- You have 2+ years of experience in the apparel factory environment
- You have knowledge of garment industry best practices
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You have intermediate computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
- You have high attention to details
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You have the ability to work well independently and efficiently without direct supervision and to work effectively as a team
- You have excellent organizational skills and flexibility
- You are excited by knowledge transfer and training
