- Leverage existing and potential relationships to facilitate solutions.
- Provide constructive and well thought out feedback within team, both horizontally and vertically within an organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at any level (including senior leadership) to identify business requirements, understand issues, review possible solutions and present recommendations.
- Identify the fit for purpose solution to meet requirements and to drive the optimal outcomes. Build project plans and implement new solutions or enhancements. Manage the lifecycle of technology solutions and may lead teams to implement them.
- Utilize a data driven approach to identify and tackle business hurdles through collaboration with IT teams members and vendors
- Support less experienced Solutions Analysts by providing guidance and mentoring them.
- Adhere to all service management best practices on an individual level.
- Create and update support documentation.
- Work closely with a full range of business stakeholders to understand challenges faced that could have a portion of the solution based on technology. Research and present solutions explaining why recommendations will improve the outcome and are worth the effort to follow.
- Communicate the value of a process centric approach when engaging business leadership to improve efficiencies and potentially the bottom line of their business.
- Ability to facilitate and/or lead technical conversations with other members within IT and vendors.
- Comfortable working with senior leadership as stakeholders.
- Aptitude to embrace ongoing change in technology
- Ability to confidently question various situations to drive the optimal outcomes.
- Capable of facilitating a team to identify the fit for purpose solution.
- A desire to bring existing skills and experience to any improve any business problem. Inefficiencies bother you.
- An ability to communicate why processes that are fit-for-purpose improve the outcome and are worth the effort to undertake.
- Ability to mentor junior members of the team
- Undergraduate Degree or College diploma in related field
- Minimum of 5 Years in a Solutions Analyst role
- Prior experience understanding and managing the lifecycle of technology solutions.
