- Provide exceptional customer service, and work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Understand customer needs, answer calls, and handle walk-in traffic as needed;
- Provide timely and accurate quotes using CP standard over the counter pricing policies, estimating, and quoting processes;
- Act as a brand ambassador and use available opportunities to promote CP products and services that meet the customers’ plan and budget;
- Take a proactive and professional approach to troubleshooting and have strong organizational abilities.
- Ideally, you have a minimum of 2 years of experience in over-the-counter building material distribution sales;
- Foundational experience and knowledge of Division 8 and 10 scopes of work, specifically with building openings (doors, frames, and hardware).
- Strong time management skills and ability to work well under pressure;
- Exceptional customer service skills;
- Committed to learning and becoming an expert in our product offerings;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Creative problem solver who works in a professional manner;
