- Supporting the start-up, commissioning, and field service of variable frequency drives (VFDs) across low and medium voltage applications
- Assisting with installation, configuration, and optimization of drive systems and motor control setups
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting drive-related issues, including faults, parameter settings, and performance inefficiencies
- Interpreting electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and control schematics to support service work
- Supporting plant shutdowns, system upgrades, and reactive service calls alongside senior technicians
- Using diagnostic tools and software to monitor drive performance and capture system data
- Documenting service activities and contributing to clear, concise technical reports for clients
- Traveling within Canada
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience working with VFDs, motor controls, or industrial electrical systems
- Solid understanding of three-phase systems, motors, and drive applications
- Exposure to commissioning or servicing industrial equipment in the field is an asset
- Strong troubleshooting mindset with a desire to build deeper expertise in drive systems
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with senior technical staff
- Valid driver's license and passport, with flexibility for travel
- Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach
