Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for their manufacturing and production line in Winnipeg.
You must come with an Engineering or quality background in the automotive or similar type industry and 3 years of experience is a mustWhat we offer:

We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Quality Inspector who takes pride in keeping high standards and helping improve processes on the production floor. If you're methodical, creative, and enjoy making sure things are done right, this could be a great fit.What you'll be doingInspect incoming materials, parts during production, and finished products to make sure they meet quality standardsUse precision tools like calipers and micrometersFill out and review quality documents like non-conformance reports (NCRs), first article inspections (FAIs), and Certificates of Conformance (CoCs)Help keep inspection equipment properly calibrated and in good conditionSpot and report any products or processes that don't meet standardsAssist in finding root causes and putting corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in placeHelp investigate problems and work on fixes to prevent them from happening againTake part in internal audits to maintain ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certificationsSupport customer complaints by helping with root cause analysis and contributing to 8D reportsWhat we're looking forA technical diploma or certificate in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering1 to 3 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or a related roleSome understanding of GD&T is a plusFamiliarity with quality systems and methods like ISO 9001, SPC, FMEA, and PPAPSolid background in general manufacturing processesKnowledge of Lean or Six Sigma is a bonusComfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CAD tools like SolidWorksSome knowledge of materials like plastics, metals, rubber, castings, and stampings
