Senior Aladdin Business Analyst / Test LeadWork on high-impact derivatives and collateral initiatives in a dynamic insurance environment. This hybrid Toronto-based role offers hands-on experience with BlackRock Aladdin, close collaboration with global stakeholders, and the opportunity to drive meaningful process and system improvements while advancing your expertise.What is in it for you:
  • Salaried: $118-128 per hour.
  • Incorporated Business Rate: $140-150 per hour.
  • 6-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
  • Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
  • Remote on Monday and Friday.
  • On-site Tuesday to Thursday.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, document, and manage business requirements across the full project lifecycle.
  • Design and execute test strategies, test cases, and validation processes within the Aladdin system to ensure successful delivery.
  • Identify complex operational challenges and develop innovative solutions involving workflows, systems, and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align initiatives with strategic business objectives.
  • Support implementation of new products, technologies, and system enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements across all processes and systems.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive project documentation and communication artifacts.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and external partners to support evolving business needs.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining focus on strategic goals and effectively communicating changes.
What you will need to succeed:
  • University degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • MBA, CFA, FRM, or similar certification is considered an asset.
  • 5 years of experience in business analysis within financial services, particularly in application management environments.
  • Strong expertise in BlackRock Aladdin, with hands-on experience in testing and operational workflows.
  • In-depth knowledge of derivatives products, collateral management, and trade lifecycle processes.
  • Experience with system integrations and technology implementations is an asset.
  • Solid understanding of system design, user acceptance testing, and product improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex business problems and deliver practical, effective solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
