- Maps and prioritizes key external stakeholders and develops tailored engagement plans to deliver activities that enable optimal access to the Pharmacosmos Canada product portfolio.
- Establishes and maintains productive relationships with relevant stakeholders to support reimbursement initiatives, policies, and patient support aligned with Pharmacosmos Canada market access and business objectives.
- Builds and sustains trusted relationships with patient organizations, healthcare professionals (HCPs), key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other regional stakeholders to understand patient needs and implement patient-centric initiatives that support policies promoting access to the Pharmacosmos Canada product portfolio.
- Monitors policy, payer, and regulatory developments that impact Pharmacosmos Canada's operating environment and implements strategies to address opportunities and challenges that enable the organization to attain business goals in a changing environment.
- Represents Pharmacosmos Canada's interests through participation in relevant industry forums and associations to help shape policy and regulatory outcomes that promote access to the Pharmacosmos Canada product portfolio.
- Acts as the primary regional contact and executes market access initiatives with public and private payers in the assigned region to optimize reimbursement and expedite formulary listing for the Pharmacosmos Canada product portfolio.
- Acts as a strategic access partner, in collaboration with internal stakeholders, to develop innovative value-based approaches that optimize market access at the institutional, GPO, and public/private payer levels and drive brand growth.
- Partners with internal cross-functional teams to ensure consistent, transparent, and coordinated external engagement, as well as cohesive planning and execution of market access strategies.
- Demonstrates the Pharmacosmos Values and Way of Working, as well as comply with company policies, procedures, and codes of conduct, all applicable Canadian laws and industry regulations governing pharmaceutical operations, including but not limited to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), health and safety requirements, ethical standards, data privacy legislation, and any relevant Health Canada guidelines. Maintain the highest standards of integrity, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance in all activities.
- Bachelor's degree in public policy, business, science or a related field required.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, specifically government relations, patient advocacy and stakeholder engagement
- Experience in market access segments including reimbursement, formulary listings, contracts, etc.
- Oncology therapeutic area experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with external stakeholder to ensure access and appropriate engagement of key individuals in regional (national) accounts.
- Deep understanding of Canadian and regional healthcare policy, payer/reimbursement processes and patient advocacy landscape.
- Strategic and consultative with an ability to identify stakeholder needs and to drive solutions while understanding and aligning to market access and business priorities.
- Key account management skills
- Highly motivated self-starter with ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate and partner with internal and external team members.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and influencing skills.
- Travel required - approximately 20-25% of the time
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Languages: English required for all roles. French required for Quebec/East Territory.
