
Technical Sales Representative

- Solve customer problems using NOV Completion Tools products and services.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback on industry trends and new areas of opportunity.
- Increase revenues for the business and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Identify new customers and develop positive relationships that will result in the sale of products and services.
- Maintain existing customer relationships that will result in ongoing and repeat business.
- Prepare and deliver customer presentations that will increase the brand awareness of NOV Completion Tools and educate customers about the products and services within our business unit.
- Prepare business proposals, tenders or quotations for customer projects that will result in the profitable sale of products and services.
- Prepare business plans and new product development requests to create a plan for the execution of new business opportunities.
- Work with other NOV business units to cross sell their products that will improve the overall performance of NOV.
- Assist operations in scheduling work as well as ensuring accurate follow up upon job completion; at times, may be required to assist operations with the coordination of installations.
- Negotiate a mutually satisfactory resolution to client invoicing inquiries.
- Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, procedures and programs; including but not limited to the Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery policy, health, safety and environmental requirements and all applicable local policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor of Business, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and departments
- Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written)
- 2-5 years in a sales role in an oilfield service company selling completion tools, liner systems and coiled tubing tools is required.
- A proven track record of sales growth and a wealth of industry contacts within the operating region.
- Skilled in applying problem-solving techniques to resolve any complications with clients that may arise.
- Familiar with CRM based sales and customer reporting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
