- Manage and maintain inventory levels in housekeeping storerooms throughout the resort.
- Prepare, receive, and distribute linen deliveries.
- Deliver and ensure any calls are prioritized in order of importance and responded to promptly.
- Meet or exceed productivity thresholds relative to pre-determined time allotments for specific tasks.
- Keep lines of communication open and be accountable for your time throughout the day.
- Report all inventory deficiencies and damages to your supervisor immediately.
- To confidently adapt from working in a team environment to working independently
- Participate in all Occupational Health and Safety standards set for the department.
- Other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisors or Manager.
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid B.C. driver’s license.
- Must be in good physical condition as the job requires performing manual labour, being able to lift 35lbs, push and pull heavy objects for prolonged periods of time. It is a physical and sometimes demanding position which requires an enthusiastic and hardworking individual.
- Must possess safe work habits with awareness of safe work procedures.
- Able to multi-task, work well under stress and meet targeted deadlines.
- Must be flexible and adaptable under changing conditions, priorities, and unexpected situations.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays. This position may require overtime and altered scheduling according to occupancy levels.
