
Aircraft Maintenance Technician - Avionics (AME-E)

- Reporting any un-airworthy conditions discovered (including challenging working conditions;
- Utilizing certified/calibrated standard measuring and test equipment;
- Marshalling, fueling and towing of aircraft;
- Maintaining a clean work area;
- Assuming responsibility for his work as indicated by his signature/stamp;
- Performing duties such as repair, modification and maintenance of aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance procedures;
- Familiarisation of the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM) and related processes;
- Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety regulations at all times;
- Ability to travel on board to aircraft to service and carry out repairs as needed throughout the world;
- Complete all assigned training and tasks on time; and
- Participating in the Safety Management System Program Committee on Aircraft, if requested;
- Comply with the approved processes;
- Familiarization with L3 MAS Policies and Processes.
- You must hold an AME E license (mandatory);
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
- Have a positive attitude and be able to work well in a team environment;
- Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills; and
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
