- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by conducting regular safety inspections, ensuring compliance with procedures (including lockout/tagout), and escalating concerns as needed
- Support daily maintenance operations by coordinating workflows, tracking vehicle availability, monitoring repair progress, and assisting with preventative maintenance planning
- Conduct facility inspections, identify repair needs, and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure safe and compliant operations
- Coordinate contractors and vendors, including scheduling, reviewing quotes, tracking work progress, and ensuring quality and compliance with standards
- Assist with staff coordination by supporting scheduling, onboarding, training logistics, and reinforcing safety and documentation practices
- Monitor training compliance, coordinate required training, and maintain accurate employee training records
- Manage maintenance systems (e.g., work orders and purchase orders) to ensure accurate documentation, cost tracking, and alignment with billing requirements
- Support data integrity by monitoring fuel usage, kilometers, inventory, and maintenance records
- Assist with warranty administration, ensuring proper documentation, compliance, and coordination of warranty-related work and returns
- Monitor and support operational systems (e.g., HVAC, fueling, Geotab, MDT), coordinating troubleshooting with vendors or IT as required
- Oversee shop equipment condition and lifecycle planning in coordination with leadership
- Support billing and documentation processes by reviewing invoices, ensuring accuracy of work orders, and assisting with cost recovery requirements
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000

- Experience in maintenance operations, facilities management, transportation, or technical administration
- Experience in fleet, transit, or heavy equipment environments is preferred
- Previous supervisory or coordination experience is an asset vehicles.
- Maintenance management systems (e.g., Hexagon or similar)
