- Act as a trusted HR partner to assigned clients, building strong, lasting relationships.
- Conduct regular check-ins to assess evolving needs and provide proactive support.
- Identify opportunities where HR strategy and solutions can add value.
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance on employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, performance management, and policy interpretation.
- Lead or support projects such as policy development, handbook reviews, compliance audits, and compensation research.
- Deliver practical, scalable HR solutions tailored to each client.
- Support full-cycle recruitment including strategy, sourcing, interviewing, and offers.
- Assist with onboarding processes to improve engagement and retention.
- Advise leaders on performance management and talent development.
- Guide clients through employee relations matters with a focus on compliance and resolution.
- Provide insight into engagement strategies aligned with business goals.
- Partner with leadership teams to align HR practices with organizational objectives.
- Contribute to HR planning, initiatives, and program development.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.
- Recommend and implement HR technology solutions where appropriate.
- Collaborate with the internal team to share knowledge and improve processes.
- Contribute to business growth through a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.
- 5-10 years of progressive HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and compliance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and client engagements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general HR systems/technology.
- Experience with Google Suite, Adobe, and Mac environments is an asset.
- CPHR designation is considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (local travel required).
