- Certificate of registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Physical assessment skills with demonstrated ability to assess clients from paediatrics to geriatrics
- Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia course
- Working knowledge of Life Threatening Arrhythmias
- I.V. Certification and venipuncture
- PALS certification, or must complete within 6 months
- 2 years of recent experience in an Emergency Department
- Advanced Trauma Nursing Courses and/or recent related experience
- CTAS Courses preferred
