Experience: 4–8 Years? Role OverviewSeeking a skilled professional with strong experience in ServiceNow ITSM and APM modules, focusing on testing, data migration, and quality assurance. The role involves preparing and executing test plans, developing test cases, performing functional and non-functional testing, and collaborating with business analysts, developers, and SMEs.? Key Responsibilities1. Test Planning & Test Case Development
- Prepare Test Plans based on functional and business requirements
- Develop, review, and execute Test Cases from User Stories, Use Cases, and Requirement Documents
- Identify Test Scenarios and apply Test Case Design Techniques
- Create and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Perform various types of testing:
- Integration, System, Functional, Regression, Sanity, Smoke
- User Interface (GUI) testing
- Database testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Performance testing
- Execute Data Migration testing across different environments
- Work with ServiceNow BA/BSA to understand project requirements
- Participate in requirement review meetings and GAP analysis
- Track and manage defects using JIRA or Test Data Management tools
- Participate in defect triage calls with SMEs, BSA, and developers
- Provide input for Test Closure Reports
- Test Automation using Selenium
- Use HP Quality Center / ALM / Test Director for test management
- Basic knowledge of Java, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, SQL
- Agile / Scrum and Waterfall (SDLC / STLC)
- ITIL processes and ITSM/ITOM module expertise
- Knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Request Management, and Portal modules
- Expertise testing ServiceNow ITSM and APM modules
- Strong experience in Data Migration testing
- Proficient in preparing Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scenarios
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Hands-on experience with multiple testing tools and automation frameworks
- Exposure to enterprise-level ITSM/ITOM workflows and processes
- Familiarity with multiple development methodologies (Agile / Waterfall)
- ServiceNow Modules: ITSM / ITOM (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Request Management, Portal)
- Languages: Java, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, SQL
- Testing Tools: Selenium, HP QC / ALM / Test Director
- Defect Tracking: JIRA
