
Senior Applied Scientist, Computer Vision

- Develop machine learning models that analyze images and videos to assist individuals living with dementia as well as their families and caretakers
- Work on core computer vision tasks such as object detection, human pose estimation, activity recognition, and video understanding in the context of assisted living and memory care
- Leverage our vast video dataset to enhance the precision and effectiveness of our services, both on embedded systems and in the cloud
- Work collaboratively with machine learning and software engineers to deliver the best products and solutions to our customers
- Quantify the business impact of new machine learning models and present experimental findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the field
- Experience in applied machine learning or computer vision research in an industry setting
- Proficiency with Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Effective communication skills for presenting progress and results to both technical and non-technical audiences
- One or more publications at top-tier computer vision or machine learning conferences such as CVPR, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, etc. preferred
- Familiarity with software development best practices such as encapsulation, unit testing, version control, etc. preferred
- Comfort working collaboratively with a remote team
