- Data Collection & Organization: Gather data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Organize data in a structured manner for easy access and analysis.
- Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Interpret data to provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Report Development: Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and Microsoft Excel. Ensure reports are visually appealing, accurate, and provide valuable insights.
- Business Intelligence: Develop and implement business intelligence strategies to support organizational goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Advanced Analytics: Utilize advanced analytical techniques to solve business problems. Perform predictive and prescriptive analytics to forecast future trends and outcomes.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources to create a unified view. Ensure data consistency and integrity across different systems and platforms.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide timely and relevant insights. Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, data scientist or similar role.
- Proficiency in Power BI, SQL Server, Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), Power Query M, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience successfully collaborating with cross functional stakeholders at various levels in the organization to drive change.
- Proven program and project management skills and ability to execute, with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build and communicate complex technical processes and procedures through visual and text-based documentation, as well as verbally to nontechnical stakeholders or collaborators.
- Proven prioritization skills, working in a fast-paced environment with evolving business priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication and proven ability to convey complex technical concepts in plain English.
- Proven ability to use facts and data to make compelling recommendations, and influence stakeholders at all levels in the organization - including executives.
- Self-starter, takes initiative, follows through to completion.
- Experience succeeding within a complex multi-solution culture with a global footprint.
- Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a variety of technical and creative individuals and members of cross-functional project teams.
- Exceptional organization, decision making, problem-solving, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Ability to recognize and implement realistic and practical “real world” solutions.
- Commitment to lifelong learning and staying current on learning industry trends and innovations.
- Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, Domo, Vertica, or QlikView.
- Knowledge of data governance and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R.
