What & Why:As a Senior Front-end Developer on this team, you'll help shape one of the most critical parts of the digital guest journey, secure and seamless authentication. This small but high-impact team is responsible for building and maintaining the login and account access experiences that power their e-commerce and digital ecosystem. You'll collaborate closely with other senior engineers, a Project Manager, Scrum Master, and Business Analysts to deliver performant, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that directly impact millions of guests worldwide. In this role, you'll take the lead on developing enterprise-grade front-end components, driving technical design decisions, and ensuring best practices in UI/UX implementation. You'll also contribute hands-on code, support testing and debugging, and act as a subject matter expert in modern JavaScript frameworks. This is a collaborative, hands-on role where you'll influence architecture, mentor teammates, and ensure that login experiences are reliable, secure, and intuitive for all.Who:This client is one of the most recognizable Canadian brands, a true Vancouver success story who has expanded globally. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment with 3 days a week in office.You:You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
  • 5+ years of professional front-end development experience, with expertise in React.js, TypeScript, Redux, and Next.js
  • Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and proven ability to build responsive, high-performance web applications.
  • Experience with APIs and back-end integration (GraphQL, REST, Node.js, AWS).
  • Solid understanding of modern front-end architecture (Micro-Frontends, Component-Based Design, Modular Systems).
