- Adherence to corporate standards and policies.
- Attend sites to complete architectural surveys to confirm existing conditions and dimensions.
- Liaise directly with municipal authorities (e.g., planning, building, fire, health) to conduct research and compile data regarding by-laws, municipal restrictions, submission, and other regulatory requirements.
- Analyze various building codes and by-laws and provide a report to the Project Manager, or Coordinator.
- Work as part of the architectural team to coordinate and produce detailed architectural technical documents based on schematics and mark-ups including but not limited to 3D architectural renderings, contract documents and other technical documents or schedules and reports.
- Utilize a variety of software including but not limited to Revit, ADOBE, Photoshop, Sketch-up, Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint and others as may be required to perform duties.
- Coordinating with architectural, mechanical and structural Revit models and or cad documents.
- Model existing buildings in Revit, including both architectural and structural elements.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other team members and consultants, ensuring documents are accurate, well-detailed, and as precise as possible.
- Reviewing and coordinating shop drawings.
- Assist the team in identifying potential challenges and solutions.
- Complete building permit and Health Approval applications.
- Assemble Contract Documents for review and execution.
- Liaise directly with trades and suppliers.
- Diploma/degree from accredited College or University in Architectural Technology or similar.
- Member of an accredited Professional Association is encouraged.
- 1 to 3 years related experience in an architectural firm or associated industry; and
- Minimum 1 year Revit experience.
- Revit, ADOBE, Photoshop, Sketch-up, Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint.
- Understanding of BIM and Revit architecture.
- Familiarity with the Ontario Building Code
