You understand the importance of collaborating with the pet-owner and the support team to provide the best care possible to your patient. You are confident in operating various medical equipment and performing medical procedures; physical examinations, immunization and surgery. You pride yourself on providing expert patient care!About the HospitalVancouver Animal Wellness Hospital offers a unique mix of conventional veterinary medicine, and alternative therapies like acupuncture, veterinary spinal manipulation therapy, and holistic therapies. Our veterinarians receive excellent support from a team of three veterinary technologists, three veterinary assistants and three amazingly skilled client care specialists.As our ideal Candidate, you have:A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in CanadaExperience in; soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice.Excellent dentistry skills, as well as a strong interest in this area of practiceStrong leadership skills combined with a positive team player attitude to enable our teams to flourishExemplary customer service that builds loyalty and trust with your clientsDedicated to promoting team-based medicine practicesExceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents, and communityA passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journeyAn interest in attending conferences and networking with colleaguesCertification (or a demonstrated interest in furthering your education) in Acupuncture, Spinal Manipulation Therapy or RehabilitationA love for all companion animals!What VCA Canada OffersJoin our team and you will make a huge difference in the lives of pets and their families!
