- Execute the sourcing plan through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), resume mining, proactive searches, and the development of relationships with candidates.
- Create and manage job postings for the organization.
- Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks.
- Ensure a positive experience for candidates.
- Screen candidates - conduct pre-screening, soft skills interview, and coordinate technical interviews.
- Prepare the hiring package (salary, benefits, dates, etc.).
- Complete reference checks.
- Coordinate with the Onboarding team for the onboarding sessions for new hires.
- Attend networking events to promote Mariner and meet local talent.
- Create/maintain relationships (build trust, inspire confidence, earn respect).
- Proactively build, nurture, and engage talent in the pipeline.
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and external partners.
- Work closely with HR, leadership teams, and hiring managers to forecast talent needs.
- Provide market insights and data-driven recommendations to optimize hiring decisions.
- Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders.
- Promote employer branding by showcasing company culture and values.
- Support and understand Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and the positive impact it has on company culture and the business's bottom line.
- Post-secondary education in a related field.
- Proven success in sourcing and identifying top talent; passionate about recruitment.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
- Energetic self-starter, adaptable to fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and facilitate meetings.
- Sales/persuasion skills with a customer-service mindset and sense of urgency.
- Experience hiring for IT health–related positions (e.g., clinical systems/business analysts, health project managers, health informatics specialists, EHR implementation consultants).
- Familiarity with healthcare IT roles such as EHR/EMR specialists (Epic, Cerner, MEDITECH), health informatics analysts, healthcare cybersecurity experts, integration developers, and compliance-oriented IT professionals.
- Understanding of the unique talent market dynamics in healthcare IT, including demand for Epic-certified professionals, data interoperability experts (HL7, FHIR), and professionals with public health informatics knowledge.
