- Prepare food for the restaurant and banquets, all in accordance with the established standards (quality, quantity, and presentation);
- Work alongside other Culinary professionals, displaying teamwork in the accomplishment of daily tasks;
- Taste and monitor food that is being served, ensuring taste, temperature and presentation meet our standards;
- Responsible for cleaning work station and ensuring a neat and organized space, which helps ensure the efficient operation of the Kitchen;
- Contribute to the development of the daily specials;
- Assist with ordering supplies and completing inventory when needed;
- Follow through on daily tasks and key responsibilities, driving a culture of teamwork and fun!;
- Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by management.
- Previous experience as a Cook in a busy environment is required.
- Must have valid Food Handlers Certification.
- Excellent communication and positive attitude.
- Passionate about the culinary and dining experience.
- Strong organization skills and a proficient multi-tasker.
- Smart Serve Certification is an asset, but not a requirement.
- Must be available to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons and evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
